An important note from the author about his book: When I wrote this book, I did not know I had Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria, or that the condition even existed. I learned that I had RSD in about 2024. In my book, I discuss an incident whereby a young boy's feelings were hurt very badly. I got the idea for this story from a true incident in my life when I was an eight or nine year old boy. What had happened: A girl or girls teased me and made scowls at me and my feelings were tremendously hurt whereby I ran home to my parents and told them that no girl would ever want to marry me. This was because of perceived rejection. What happened didn't mean no or very few girls would like me and want to marry me. I had very much overreacted to the girls teasing me. My father explained that many girls would want to marry me and that he couldn't believe how sensitive I was.

About the Book: Johnny’s feelings were hurt by girls who were teasing him, and he learns that he is more sensitive than many other people.
